Based in west central Scotland, I provide select clients with a personal architectural service focused on quality bespoke design and based on over 25 years experience working nationally and internationally. My clients are private individuals, business owners, charitable organisations and other architects.
I have considerable experience in a wide variety of projects at all scales from wee buildings to cities. My approach is collaborative – listening to and working with clients to create design solutions that enhance life. I also have considerable knowledge of low energy and ecological design and am a trained Passivhaus designer – the most established and demanding energy design standard in use worldwide.
Recently my work has focused on :
private homes : high quality/low energy , new build, refurbishment, conservation and extensions
residential development : high quality housing for independent living
creative workspace design for dynamic organisations and collectives
